The Tala Tank is situated close to the five-point-crossing at
Shyambazar. It was built in the British regime in 1911. Built on a platform 110 ft. high, this tank is 321 ft.
in width. It is 16 ft. deep. Its capacity to reserve is one million
gallons of water. Its cost was Rs. 5
lakhs.
