kms. from the heart of the city. The seating capacity is 1,25,000
Persons. It is elliptical in shape. The roof is made of strong tubes and
aluminium sheets. There are two electronic
score boards and control rooms. The lighting is uniformly
distributed to facilitate nocturnal sports. There are special
arrangements for TV broadcasting.
